Driveaway Car Transport Can Be The Answer

When there are two cars in a family, but everyone wants to ride together to a new home, figuring out the logistics of moving can be a tad difficult.

Do you A) bite the bullet and caravan despite the family's desires; B) look at auto train options; or C) hire a trucking company to transport the second vehicle?

According to GoMovers.com, there's actually a D) option that many forget to consider. The site's article on driveaway car transport services spells out this possibility and what those looking to hire transport services should consider. This potential solution involves hiring a company or individual to actually drive a car from one driveway to the other.

The article suggests this can be a very good option for those who don't like the first three, but recommends a thorough background check be done prior to handing the car and keys over to a driver.

When the other options don't appeal, it sounds like driveway car transport might just be a viable answer to help remove some of the logistical problems of making a move.

I'm getting ready for a move from state to state and have been debating this same topic. I decided on a car transport service. I saw a comment to a previous post and went with a car transport quote from gohet.com. Fast quote, and pretty good price, but primarily selected because of gomovers.com article emphasizing "white glove" treatment. They deal in high end autos and provide, "white glove" treatment...which I thought was pretty cool. I guess I didn't feel comfortable having someone drive my car :(
