Attractive Storage

I recently read a moving tip called Make Your New Home Your Own and it helped me realize that a way to keep ahead of the curve with regard to packing and moving is to store belongings in tall industrial shelving. Having a whole roomful of piles on the floor, needing to navigate paths through the wilderness of stuff right and my living environment is not a good solution.

In comparison to the above mentioned scenario, it's a wonderful feeling to have maximum use industrial storage shelving in my living space. It feels like a real accomplishment to bring my possessions into order.

I called my moving company to get information on storage and special moving boxes that have places to identify contents –these sturdy containers that are a vast improvement over the old boxes I was using. I put these labeled boxes that my moving and storage service provides in the shelving. With some upholstery fabric coverings, the industrial shelving looks fine, even in my living room.

A nice furniture feature is using those nice square baskets and attractive colored boxes exposed on a more high end shelving unit such as one might find in furniture or office supply store. In this case I often have a little key or diagram listing the names of the categories contained within the uniform boxes.

It's helps me rest easier knowing that I (and my stuff) are that much more ready when it becomes moving time again.
